ALEX OTTE

alex otte is an art history major originally from pittsburgh, pa. she  is an avid nap taker and book reader. 
in her spare time she likes to work with textiles and felting. she plays the flute which she has  
studied off and on for the past 12 years. she also writes poetry and  has had several pieces published 
by small presses. she is most interested in contemporary installation art and has interned twice at  
her favorite installation art museum, the Mattress Factory in pittsburgh. she's not quite sure what 
she wants to do with her life, but she knows that it has to include art, music and at least one pet cat.
